Having a Computer Inside Your Bloodstream?

The DNA Strand

We can now encode computer information on a DNA strand!! Awesome!~

For Transhumanism to really take hold, we must develop the ability of nanotechnologies and implement them into the human body, or as science calls is, ” a biological system” to enhance ourselves to better withstand the biosphere that we continue to damage at an almost exponential rate.

Researchers in the U.S. have created a method that is able to encode computational information in the strands of DNA within cells.  Also, this information encoded can be erased and re-written with new information. So this is important because our bodies change, and with time the doctors of the future can adjust the programs that are in the bloodstream. What an exciting proposition!  Each small step that we are able to make in implementing technologies into the human body the better chance we will be able to live, longer healthier lives!!

For those of you who do not want to have little computers monitoring your body from the inside, my question is why? I understand if you are nervous or not understanding of the concept, however I argue that this is just the beginning of large-scale charges on how we view ourselves as “biological systems” and what it means to be “human”. As a species we have already been extending our lifespans through medications, fasting, educated nutritional programs, blood testing and supplementation of high quality ingredients that our bodies cannot naturally produce.  This is just the beginning my friends.

What kinds of computer applications would you like to have in your bloodstream?

Cheers to you all!
