Virtual Internship Week 5 Lubuto Library Project

Well the last seven days has not been too exciting as I got to finish renaming the various reading lessons for the website, and it turns out that I need to go back and put the name of each language at the beginning of each file name, which will take a few days.

I was able to get a hold of a former professor asking for insight into constructing the collection development policy and the unique collection that the Lubuto Library Project houses and will obtain the future. I should be actually holding either a Skype conversation with him, or a Google+ hangout, since he has low eyesight, and email communication is rather tough for him.

The social media policy is slowly coming together, and will be contacting persons this week through the Lubuto Library Project to get their insight into what should be included and excluded.

Until next time: Mucaale kabotu! (It means goodbye in Chitonga, one of the many languages spoken in Zambia!)
