Week 14 Virtual Internship Lubuto Library Project

Well, the last few weeks of the semester is here, and I submitted both drafts of the two documents that I was in charge of creating.  I know there is still work to be done on both, and especially the collection development policy, since it incorporates much information that I do not have. I really hope that I can work out in hard these last weeks or so to make sure if fulfills that the Lubuto Library Project is looking for and to also complete my SLO’s.  Luckily, I have been able to work with staff on the Social Media Document consistently, but the collection development policy not as much. The staff is busy, and I know this. I am just wanting to make sure I do my best to complete the tasks given to me and to not look like a failure.

I cannot thank the staff of the Lubuto Library Project enough so far! They have been excellent in communicating with me, providing feedback, encouragement and making sure I stay on track. I am very thankful that I can help out in any capacity.

Until next time: Mucaale kabotu! (It means goodbye in Chitonga, one of the many languages spoken in Zambia!)
